The goal of the European Meeting Centre of Pensioners and Disabled is to organize German- Polish courses and workshops for elderly and disabled taking into consideration in particular the integrational aspects of the disabled together with the issue of increasing their activity, self- help capacities and life resourcefulness. Thus some town organizations and associations taking care of the elderly and disabled, among the others a Regional Association of the Elderly, Pensioners and Disabled People or “A Helping Hand Foundation” were assigned office rooms to help the aforementioned individuals. The whole building also serves as a great location for all kinds of lectures, German- Polish conferences, business meetings and events.
